Who is Patema?

Patema is an American progressive metal trio based in Denver, Colorado, crafting immersive music that balances elegance and weight in equal measure. Formed in the Southwestern desert, the band blends modern progressive metal with classic rock sensibility, atmospheric depth, and dynamic restraint.

Their debut album Fathom (2019) earned international attention and led to support slots with acts like Leprous, Bent Knee, and Mark Lettieri. Currently at work on their sophomore album, Patema continue to refine a sound built on tension, texture, and emotional scale rather than excess.
